Dyeing
DYEHOUSE
Dyeing is carried out on site in a variety of dyelot sizes
ranging from 20 kg to 550 kg in Nylon and Polyester.
All dyes and chemicals
used
conform
to ECO standards and comply with international
standards
of wash fastness and colour fastness.
 The
dyehouse laboratory
is
Woolworth’s South Africa accredited and the test used for wash fastness is C4A using
perborate. Only
the best quality dyes and chemicals are used in the dyeing process to
obtain optimum results in regard to wash fastness, colour yield and
reproducibility.
Martilon
has recently commissioned state of the art Thies dyeing and drying
equipment to augment the existing dyehouse capacity. In addition, a
new computerised laboratory colour matching facility is in the process of
being commissioned.
